Awards & Recognition Applications Due April 2, 2023

As the annual District Convention approaches, one of the key events is the Awards & Recognition Luncheon. All clubs are encouraged to submit in taking part of any and all contests. Simply visit https://hawaiilions.org and navigate the menu: MEMBERS – AWARDS & RECOGNITION – D50 HAWAII and then select the award(s) that apply to you and your club. Due date is April 2, 2023 for all submissions.

Aloha fellow Lions, Companions in Service (CIS), Leos and guests! I MUA Let us move forward together and celebrate a year of service at the 87th District 50 Hawai’i Lions Convention. The Convention will be at the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu on April 27 through 29, 2023.

GOING GREEN provided free recycling of e-waste like computers, monitors, printers, scanners, and a limit of 1 TV per car. You can recycle only lead acid batteries (car/boat batteries), HI-5 plastic and aluminum beverage containers, used eye glasses and hearing aids, usable clothing, prom dresses, women’s business apparel and accessories, blankets and towels for pet clinics, and canned goods for the Hawaii Food Bank.

This Wellness Fair had taken place at various Walmart locations where health services such as free vision screenings and vaccinations are offered by Walmart staff. District 50 Lions are called to help with encouraging Walmart shoppers to stop by the health tables AND to assist with health promotion efforts.
