HAWAII KAI LIONS FOR TRAFFIC AWARENESS AT KAMILOIKI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Submitted by Yolisa Ishibashi

Hawaii Kai Lions for Traffic Awareness at Kamiloiki on April 5, 2023, Hawaii Kai Lions participated in the traffic awareness sign waving event coordinated by HPD Officer John Mau at Kamiloiki Elementary School from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. There were at least a dozen HPD officers joining in the sign waving, which included several motorcycle officers. During the sign waving, one of the motorcycle officers pursued a potential speeder going up Hawaii Kai Drive.

In support of the Community Policing Team of District 7 East Honolulu and Kamiloiki Elementary School, the Hawaii Kai Lions continue to encourage safe driving near our schools and look forward to participating in future projects with them, as well as the other schools within the community.
