Eggstravaganza

Eggstravaganza!

The annual Parks & Rec Easter Eggstravaganza was held at Koko Head District Park complex on Saturday, April 1 from 8:00a to 11:00a. Hawaii Kai Lions assisted with registration and distribution of gift bags to each child.

This year, there were more than 450 children registered, in addition to those who came and registered that day. There were game and face-painting stations in the upper field to entertain the children before the egg hunt began. The Easter egg hunt, by age group (4), was held on the baseball field. There were 3 special eggs in each age group which was awarded an Easter basket. All participating children were given a gift bag at the end of the egg hunt. It was nice to see the excitement of children having fun again! Great job by the Hawaii Kai Lions team on helping the Parks & Rec have a successful Easter Eggstravaganza!!!
