Hanapepe Salvation Army Bell Ringing
Waimea High School Leos and West Kauai Lions we are at Eleele Big Save supporting the Hanapepe Salvation Army bell ringing fundraiser.
Limited Edition Cook Book Binding
COOK BOOKS $15 each - District 50 Lions binding the limited edition Lions cookbook. Fundraiser to subsidize young Lions to attend either the USA Canada Lions Forum or the International Convention and the Hawaii Lions Foundation.
Walmart’s Wellness Fair
This Wellness Fair had taken place at various Walmart locations where health services such as free vision screenings and vaccinations are offered by Walmart staff. District 50 Lions are called to help with encouraging Walmart shoppers to stop by the health tables AND to assist with health promotion efforts.
Adopt-a-Highway
Litter is unsightly and it destroys the natural beauty of Hawaii’s highways. "Opala" also affects our ocean environment.
Moanalua Elementary School Beautification
Students, Faculty, Staff, the Moanalua Community and the Moanalua Lions Club participated in the event working towards refreshing the campus and making it a more inviting & positive school environment.
Hapalua Half Marathon Medical Volunteers
The Hapalua event would not be possible to stage without volunteers. Moanalua Lions were there, along with Waikiki 2000, Palolo, and Koko Head Lions members to support the medical tent.
Storm Drain Marking, Mariners Cove
The Hawaii Kai Lions successfully installed 74 storm drain markers as a reminder to keep municipal drains clear of trash and debris throughout the Mariner’s Cove neighborhood in Hawaii Kai.
