The Waikoloa Lions with the help of the Waikoloa Lutheran Church took two huge loads of grass, leaves and tree branches to recycle.
Litter is unsightly and it destroys the natural beauty of Hawaii’s highways. “Opala” also affects our ocean environment.
The Honolulu Festival attracts over 5000+participants and 30,000 visitors to events held over the 3 days of the festival.
Moanalua Lions provided the heavy lifting of transporting 25K Finisher t-shirts and metals to the Great Aloha Run at Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
GOING GREEN provided free recycling of e-waste like computers, monitors, printers, scanners, and a limit of 1 TV per car.
Keiki were screened at Kahakai Elementary with help from Project Vision and Lions from all over Hawaii island.
Lions set up used eyeglass and hearing aid collection sites at Walmarts across the state including several other rural area locations.
MOANALUA LIONS & MOANALUA HIGH SCHOOL LEOS serving at Field Marshalls and ground support at the 2023 Sony Open.
This Wellness Fair had taken place at various Walmart locations where health services such as free vision screenings and vaccinations are offered by Walmart staff. District 50 Lions are called to help with encouraging Walmart shoppers to stop by the health tables AND to assist with health promotion efforts.
