GOING GREEN E-WASTE RECYCLING was adopted by the Hawaii Lions District 50 and their Environment Committee to provide free recycling of UNLIMITED AMOUNTS of e-waste like computers, monitors, printers, scanners, and TVs, cell phones, ink cartridges, toners!   You can recycle Metal like refrigerators, microwave ovens, water heaters, auto parts, etc., ALL KINDS OF BATTERIES, HI-5 beverage containers, used eye glasses and hearing aids, usable clothing,  blankets, towels, pet food, for pet clinics, canned goods for the Hawaii Food Bank, diapers and wipes for keiki and kupuna.

The public can drive through the event’s parking lot,  and be greeted by cheerful and helpful volunteers who will unload vehicles of donations of recyclable materials, knowing that nothing goes into the landfills.  So exciting!  So gratifying!  Planet Earth is so happy!

The Going Green Community Recycling Clean-Up Program started in 2012, which evolved after 8 successful years starting out as Aloha `Aina Earth Day in 2004 at Haleiwa Boat Harbor and Kaimuki High School, and now in its 21st year of providing FREE RECYCLING EVENTS.

Going Green Lions Collecting Computer EquipmentLion Rene Mansho continues to volunteer, coordinating these monthly/weekly  Hawaii Lions events island-wide wherever requests are made.   Schools, churches, and community organizations host events to help preserve our natural resources and save Planet Earth!  Everything collected DOESN’T GO INTO OUR LANDFILLS!    If your organization is interested in hosting a Going Green event, contact Rene at (808) 291-6151.  All you need is a parking lot and 10 volunteers!
