Parade Marching: The Hawaii Lions marched as a unit and poised near the front of the parade. For those that were capable and have the endurance to walk the parade again. Each were asked by the Honolulu Festival coordinators for additional help and were shuttled back to the start of the parade to support additional assignments. They included directing attendees to event venues, handing out pamphlets, holding placards and signs while marching in the parade, and even helping to move a flying dragon, a “Neputa” float, and a fire-breathing dragon along the parade route!
