17th Annual “Lions in Sight” Statewide Eyeglass & Hearing Aid Collection plus Food Drive!
Saturday January 24, 2026, 8am-12pm
In 2026, the Lions Clubs of District 50 will proudly celebrate 100 years of dedicated service in Hawaii. The Lions Clubs are made up of a passionate group of men and women who identify critical community needs and work together to raise both the funds and manpower to address them. With over 1,400 members across 55 local clubs throughout the islands, Hawaii’s Lions are committed to making a difference. These volunteers give their time, skills, and donations to support not only local initiatives, but also charitable causes around the world. Through their selfless efforts, the Hawaii Lions continue to positively impact communities both near and far.

January marks the 17th annual statewide collection of Eyeglasses & Hearing aids. Find out more about the collection here. In addition, this year, we’re tying in a Food Drive. In partnership with the Hawaii Foodbank, The Food Basket, Maui Food Bank, and the Kaua`i Independent Food Bank, hundreds of Hawaii Lions & youth LEO Club volunteers staff the collection sites and will be accepting canned goods and non-perishable items: Water, Juice, Hot/Cold Cereal, Oatmeal, Snacks, Canned Fruits & Vegetables, Pasta, Canned Sauce, and Rice.
Lions Statewide will be out in force supporting both of these causes.
