Once again, Region IV has put together a great educational forum for our 10 outstanding Lions clubs. I invite all of our Presidents and Secretaries to rustle the bushes and get your members to attend this year's "Region IV Forum" to enrich their enthusiasm for service to the community!
Attached, please download the PROGRAM for this year's Forum and distribute it among your membership. As you'll see, we're placing heavy emphasis on the subjects you've been asking for: Getting & Keeping New Members; New Fundraising Ideas; Using The Internet; and, Improving Your Club's Service Projects. District Governor Shannon and PDG Roy will also debut & demonstrate the new Hearing Screening Program for District 50. All of that in one morning, followed by an ono lunch. What a deal - - for only $10 per Lion!
Event Information:
Date - Saturday, September 13th / Time - 8:30am-12:30pm, followed by a catered lunch
Place - JAIMS facility on Hawaii Kai Drive near Hahaione in Hawaii Kai (plenty of parking near entrance in rear of building)
Who Is Invited? - All Lions of Region IV (The room only comfortably holds about 125 people, so reservations will be first come/first served up to that number. You snooze, you loose!)
Cost - $10 per person (Make payments to Pearl City Lions, care of Lion Chris Tamura. Payments at the door ONLY if you have made prior reservations.)
Reservations - MUST be made by September 8th! Phone or email me with your club headcounts as soon as possible. Unless I get your count, it doesn't count! Please take the time to get back to me in the next couple of weeks after you've had a chance to discuss it with your membership. Remember - - we're limited to only 125 participants, so don't miss out by dragging your feet too long.
Any questions, don't hesitate to contact me or Zone 1 Chair Kin or Zone 2 Chair Duane for further information. Let's maintain our standard as "The Best Region In District 50" by producing a great turnout of enthusiastic Lions looking to further their education. Mahalo!
